To identify the needy, poor and downtrodden, who are neglected by the society.

To provide employment through skill development centers/cottage industries.

To provide shelter, Physical and spiritual care for the needy orphans and destitute.

To provide formal education for under privileged children.

To challenge the society to accept them as a decent citizen of India.

Our Mission And Commitment

My wife and I, served with a NGO for almost two decades in several states of India, as cross-cultural, linguistic social workers. Deep in our heart we had a great burden to serve the poor street kids and young people from broken homes. The burden to serve these people was laid in my heart through a few rag pickers whom I met during my service in Chennai, India. I saw them eating the left out food thrown in a street Garbage from a wedding banquet hall. When I saw that scene, I had a burden in my heart to reach out to such people who are neglected by the society. We learnt that such people do not have roof over their heads, live in utter poverty and sexual immorality. We dedicated ourselves to serve such needy people for the remaining of our lives.

Our skill development center for girls started on July 1999 at Pammal (3 miles from Chennai Airport, India). A regular tailoring course is provided and 15 girls are given employment at the center where they make lovely embroidery and cross-stitch on Bed spreads, Pillow covers, Chair back, Kitchen Towels, Bathing Towels, Book marks, Greeting cards etc. They are paid according to their labor that helps their families to survive. They are being educated on moral values, Aids awareness, Hygiene and Nutrition

The handwork done by these girls are available for sale. The measurement are as follows, Kitchen towels [available with Indian motif (14"x13")], Bathing towels (60"x120")(75"x150"), Center Table Cover (37"x29"), Table mats (14"x19"), Bookmarks, Greeting cards etc. Please find the pictures of some of our products in the next page (Photo page).
